Day 14 Pictures of the Day July 2, 2010

The scenery kept us cycling despite the wind. The elevation of Mt. Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Mississippi River is 6684 and the strongest windspeed in the world was clocked on top of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire (6288) at 231 mph. We were only 5 feet shy of Mt. Washington. The tractor is what I learned to drive growing up on a farm in New England from the time I was eight. This is a classic mint condition Ford 8N. Greatest all around tractor every made for he price.

About Me

My photo
I am a teacher from the panhandle of Florida. I am currently teaching the "Gifted" students in the southern portion of Walton County. I hold my Master's Degree in Education. I will be staying in Thailand for the month of June this summer of 2016. I will be teaching English to adult businessmen and women in Bangkok, Thailand. I hope to share many of my adventures. This will be my 6th visit to Thailand since 2006. I have found the country friendly and accepting of Americans. My wife and I have also completed two cross country bicycle trips in recent years.
